Brace W. Luquire, Attorney at Law
Brace grew up in Columbus, Georgia, attending Hardaway High School before attending Columbus State University receiving a marketing degree. He graduated from Atlanta Law School in 1982, where he received his Juris Doctorate.
Brace's father, Jerry Luquire, was a local television and radio host for half a century and owned a publishing business.
Brace has 4 children and is married to his wife, Susan. After practicing law during the day, Brace and Susan are accomplished country swing dancers and have danced, taught dance, and competed for more than 25 years. Brace and his star partner won the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy at the Alzheimer's Dancing Stars of Columbus, where Brace has performed with 5 different star partners over the years, raising thousands of dollars for the Alzheimer's Association.
Brace and his family attend St. Mark Methodist Church, where Brace plays drums in the church orchestra and band. Brace also loves to ride his mountain bike. He has, in the past, played golf and tennis, which he says he will get back to "soon."
Now, people want to know where the name BRACE came from. The voice of the "Lone Ranger" on the radio in the 40's and 50's was Brace Beemer. Brace's father knew him and wanted to name his first son Brace.
